During the warmer months of summer, uPVC expands. This can lead to your windows and doors becoming stiff and not opening and closing correctly. If you find that this does occur, there are ways you can prevent heat expansion from becoming a major issue.

Should you need to intervene, you can cool down your uPVC doors and windows by spraying the outside of them with water, or by patting it down with a cold, wet cloth. This will help the material shrink back down to normal size so that it can work properly once again.
